A Variety of Engagement Rings
Diamond Engagement ring rank among the most well liked categories of jewellery, and represent the bread and butter of many a jeweler. These rings can be found in the widest range of styles, with many an clever design, though for the past fifty years those featuring diamonds have been the bestsellers of all. Traditional diamond engagement rings are called solitaire rings because they feature one single diamond, but they can be had in extensive range of different prong settings with any number of band styles.
The one diamond is supposed to represent the one love, enduring as a diamond, but another well-liked kind of diamond engagement ring is the trinity ring, also known as a trilogy ring, that consists of three matching diamonds set horizontally in a row symbolizing the couple’s past, present, and future together. Religious importance can be translated by some with this type of a style, which frequently features a bigger stone set in the middle of the three.
Another major category of engagement rings are those offering side stones, such as those offering a larger diamond set in the middle while smaller ones go with it on the side. Then there are full sets, called a wedding set or a bridal set, which includes an engagement ring and a matching wedding band. These two rings are often designed to seem like halves of one another and can seem “incomplete ” except when assembled or displayed in the shadow of the other.
Still other styles in this category of rings are worn stacked, although either piece can still look suitable enough when worn separately. In a few cases, the two pieces, which are sold together, are designed to be welded together after the wedding, for apparent symbolical purposes as well as more effective ones - specifically to stop losing one or the other!
